Client Challenge
To create an integrated data network for the SUS (Unified Health System) in the city of São Paulo, enabling interoperability, standardization of patient data, and the flow of information between different units, such as hospitals, UBS (Basic Health Units), and UPA (Emergency Care Units).
Sensedia’s Role
The API Management solution enables integrations across all health units, covering everything from sending medical care data for security and validation stages to sharing it with the ecosystem and consolidating the patient's history within the public network. Furthermore, the artificial intelligence embedded in the API platform is already generating visible productivity gains for internal teams.
Results
Information such as a patient's treatment history and exam results can be accessed by any unit in the system. So far, the project has already impacted more than 7 million SUS users in the city of São Paulo, integrating over 370 public health establishments and generating an R$ 872 million increase in revenue for the São Paulo Health Secretariat from the SUS.
