# 1 GraphQL positioning itself as standard for Front End APIs

The subject was widely discussed, taking an exclusive route for the matter on the second day. The subject was so successful that all the time, people came to our stand to know what it is or to know what Sensedia was doing in relation to GraphQL support. In summary, we are very well positioned to be pioneers in the subject and we are going to take advantage of and improve our coverage in this technology more and more.

Some commented technologies: Nexus, a framework for creating and managing schemes to GraphQL.

#2 Mesh Architectures maturing

More and more as a latent matter, along with the strong use of some communication technologies, the highlight was gRPC, where some cases were presented as their use for communication between the WeWork microservices. Furthermore, this theme was a strong issue in the meetup that took place the previous day.

Hot technologies discussed: gRPC and Istio

#3 Strengthening the Open API ecosystem.

Open API Spec (aka Swagger) was widely discussed and new tools were introduced, from the extension to support more elaborate schemes with JSON Schemas, validation tools, tools for the more elegant OAS display (alternatives to Swagger UI) and tools for OAS generation from codes such as JavaDoc. In short, Open API is undoubtedly the official standard for the specification and documentation of APIs and a strong adoption and strengthening of the community.

Showcased technologies: Redoc (https://github.com/Rebilly/ReDoc), Open AP (https://openap.is/) and Speccy (https://github.com/wework/speccy)
